Mini Delta Robot
Status: Built with servo
controller
Features:
-
hardware board and software that has been built can control in real
time up to 6 delta robots in an array simultaneously
-
new delta robots custom made for specific tasks in as little as 2 days
-
built in storage for several hours of custom movements for packaging,
loading of trays, repositioning and assembly work
- respond to external stimulus such as
photoelectric cells, microswitches and alarms
These delta
robots are miniature devices suitable for light assembly, small item
packaging,
handling pills and making small bakery items such as
cakes.
The unit has very low power requirements compared to
large robots.
Large
delta robots consume a lot of power and small robot arms are not fast
or as
versatile compared to
a mini delta robot
mechanism for specific tasks such as handling pills and making small
bakery items.
Customisation can be as low as 2 days and the
prototypes can be trialled in plastic.
After successful trials, the product is
converted to a metal design for strength
and durability.
The cost of owning this relatively fast robot
customized to your application is very low compared to
any other class of industrial robot of this size.
From the low cost of commissioning mini delta
robots into service, arrays of these mini deltas
can be deployed to help with complex
multi-step manufacturing
operations.

The
current interest in this style of robot is to make toy versions.
We have software and ready means of making many different varieties of
prototypes for this class of robot.
It takes about 1 to 2 days to design and 1 day to make a new prototype.
If you have a toy related interest in this type of robot, then please
do contact us with a proposal.
